Hero Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis Hero) is a strain created by a spore vendor Quality Spores. Hero is a cross between the Penis Envy and Amazonian strain. This was Quality Spores first successful cross-strain and is quite rare. Penis Envy is one our most potent and popular strains. Amazonian is also a popular strain and comes from the same region Penis Envy was first discovered, in the deep Amazon jungle. The name Hero is appropriate as psychonauts often refer to a large dose as a “Hero dose”. A Hero Dose often means five or more grams of dried mushrooms consumed at one time. Users will experience ego-death and complete loss of sense of time. An intense mystical experience and often paralyzing body highs can be expected at hero doses.

Both parents of the strain have strong genetics which had to survive the competitive environment of the Amazon rainforest. This region is the world’s most bio-diverse area and for any fungi to survive it has to be tough. Both Penis Envy and Amazons are quite resistant to contaminants and provide a robust healthy fruit.

Hero shrooms are characterized by thick light-coloured stems and larger golden caps compared to the original Penis Envy’s. Some caps tend to open up and some remain closed.

This mushroom strain is known to have high average psilocybin content due to its genetics. It grows slightly faster than the original Penis Envy strain but relatively slow compared to other strains. The Amazonian lineage makes this strain resistant to contaminants.
